Abstract

Blasting sector is a big expended sector globally in terms of cost and work. Determining results of blast is very important for fragmentation. In this study, muck pile fragmentation is determined by using standard photo method and Split – Desktop image analysis software. Total 21 blasting rounds were carried out and fragmentations were determined by using both methods. Obtained data were analyzed in detail by statistical analysis. It is shown that the results of both two methods were close to each other.
