Tecnologia em Metalurgia, Materiais e Mineração [Technology in Metallurgy, Materials and Mining] – TMM - (ISSN online 2176 1523) is an Open Access and online scientific journal, peer-reviewed, with annual periodicity and edited by Editora Cubo. In August 2020, it has adopted the continuous flow publication model.
Since 2004, TMM has been publishing papers in the metallurgy, materials and mining areas with the aim of disseminating knowledge and promoting exchange between the academic community and professionals in the industries, both nationally and internationally.
The journal accepts contributions of the following types: original article, review article and short communications, in Portuguese, English and Spanish, in the areas of metallurgy, materials and mining, focusing on the scientific and technological aspects of these areas.
There is no submission charge.
Paper’s publication is subject to the approval of reviewers and editors, also to the payment of a publication fee, for corresponding author that are not ABM member.

Metallurgical Engineer graduated from the Instituto Militar de Engenharia, Rio de Janeiro Brazil (1976), Master of Applied Science in Materials Science and Engineering - University of British Columbia. (1979) and Ph.D. in Materials Science and Engineering - University of Florida (1994). Currently is Associate Professor at the Universidade Federal Fluminense. His area of expertise is the processing-properties-performance relations in steel with a focus on computational thermodynamics and its applications to steelmaking and advanced steel processing. Has a large experience also in the specification, inspection and failure analysis of metallic materials. Has been the Chairman of the Alloy Phase Diagram International Commission (APDIC), from 2008 to 2013. Is an ABM’s member and part of the Journal of Materials Research and Technology’s Advisory Board.
